Like the previous figure, Bandai's D-Arts series is releasing Pokemon figure- Venusaur.  The figure will comes with different articulation points fro Venusaur to do different poses.  The figure is set to release in August, and will be 3,800 yen- about $40.

Venusaur is the final evolve form of Bulbasaur, who's also my favorite Pokemon.  It's good to see Bandai's releasing these figures, and it's currently unknown if there will be more figures releasing in the future.

At the same month, Bandai is also releasing another figure- Hody Jones!

It's always good to see a new character got figure treatments.  It makes sense that Luffy with his Red Hawk attack would be pair up with Hody.  Luffy first revealed this attack when facing off Hody.  Both this figures will be release in June.  A great considerations for One Piece fans out there.

S.H. Figuarts Nobi Nobita Unboxing Reviews

I received this in the mail today:

A perfect addition to the Doraemon I already had.  And look at all those things it can do!  Onward to unboxing!

Just like the Doraemon figure and Kochikame figure, this one also comes with parts that allows Nobita to recreate moments from the series.

Unlike the Kochikame figure, this one is actually easy to switch parts around.  So I have the opportunity to play around with the figure a bit.

Just like the Doraemon figure, Nobita has magnet in its head as well so he can put on the Take-copter easily.

Don't remember what this is call, but it's very bossy.

Boom!

I got it!  I got it!

Bet you guys didn't know Nobita is a very good shot, huh?

A good nap after a long day of playing.
The figure is worth the money for its likely to the character, and the possible poses it offers you.  A really good figure adding to my collection.  Even though I'm still afraid to switch parts too much, but this is another really good figure for all Doraemon fans.  Maybe I will take some pictures of Nobita with Doraemon.

Score: 8.8/10

S.H. Figuarts Kankichi Ryotsu Unboxing Reviews

When I heard that Bandai is releasing Kankichi Ryotsu figure for the S.H. Figuarts series, I was overjoyed and pre-ordered one right away.  It just came in the mail yesterday.

Look at all the parts this figure comes with!  For those who don't know who Ryotsu-San is, he's the main character from popular Shonen Jump series- Kochikame.  It's the longest living series on Shonen Jump- been publishing since 1976, and the series is still going strong!  In the 35 something years the series been publishing, there are a few figures released along the line.  However, all those figures are from years ago and already out of print.  Anyway, here goes:

This figures not only comes with many spare parts, it also comes with toys and hobbies that Ryotsu-San likes.  You see the two smaller versions of him?  Those are the out of print figures I mentioned earlier.  It's kind of cool that they included those figures here.

The figure is easy to make different poses that capture the energetic nature of Ryotsu-San.  The color, and details are excellent.  There's nothing to complain here; it truly is a masterpiece.

One big problem I have with the figure is that it's not easy to switch parts.  I'm afraid I might break it if I try too hard, so it's a shame that I cannot switch his spare parts around to take different pictures.  However, I did take a picture with all the gadgets.

These are all of Ryotsu-San's interests.  He has paper with racehorse information, RC tank, his very own action figures and a copy of Shonen Jump.  It's a shame that it's not easy to switch parts though, cause I would really like to have taken pictures with Ryotsu-San playing his toys.

Here's pic of the back of the box where it shows all the possible things Ryotsu-San can do:

Score: 8.5/10

One Piece Figuarts Zero Trafalgar Law (2 year ver.) and Caesar Clown

The official website Tamashii just announced the upcoming Figuarts Zero figures Trafalgar Law (2 year ver.) and Caesar Clown.  These figures are set to release in May this year.

I think the biggest thing we all notice is the fact that you can take off Law's hat!!!!!  That automatically makes this figure wayyyyyy better than the P.O.P version.  And it's always cool to see a figure of a new character.
