S.H. Figuarts Nobi Nobita Unboxing Reviews

I received this in the mail today:

A perfect addition to the Doraemon I already had.  And look at all those things it can do!  Onward to unboxing!

Just like the Doraemon figure and Kochikame figure, this one also comes with parts that allows Nobita to recreate moments from the series.  

Unlike the Kochikame figure, this one is actually easy to switch parts around.  So I have the opportunity to play around with the figure a bit.

Just like the Doraemon figure, Nobita has magnet in its head as well so he can put on the Take-copter easily.

Don't remember what this is call, but it's very bossy.

The figure is worth the money for its likely to the character, and the possible poses it offers you.  A really good figure adding to my collection.  Even though I'm still afraid to switch parts too much, but this is another really good figure for all Doraemon fans.  Maybe I will take some pictures of Nobita with Doraemon.

My TMNT Haul!

I bought these yesterday!

Dogpound, Fishface and the Mutagen from the newest TMNT cartoon series.  Dogpound and Fishface are essentially the Rocksteady and Bebop for the new series.  And those of you who haven't seen the newest cartoon yet, go see it.  It really is the BEST cartoon on TV right now.

This is Dogpound.  Perhaps my favorite character in the show because he's just too cute!  The figure captures the cuteness of the character, and at the same time, it shows the character's toughness of begin a giant dog.  It has enough articulation for Dogpound to make awesome poses.  

It wasn't until I got the figure I notice that this guy's left arm is wayyyy bigger than his right.  Sadly, the figure I got has some bad paint job and it's chipping away already.  Sad day.  But overall, it's still a very good figure, and it's definitely a steal for $10.

Next up is Fishface!   

Fishface figure is not as articulated as the Dogpound figure.  It's because it is a very skinny figure, and it doesn't have many places for articulation.  However, the figure has a better paint job than the Dogpound figure, and the scale on it is just fun to stroke it.  My biggest problem is the metal knees it has and I just hope it can bend.  And take a look at this:

The device here is how Fishface is able to survive on land.  In the show it is full of water, but here it only shows plastic.  It would be cool if that can give it a more "hydra" feel to it, but heck, I get what I get.  It is still an awesome figure.

The Mutagen!  When I was a kid, there was a 80s cartoon version of this and I always want it.  I never got a chance and when I saw this yesterday, I know I have to get it.  Make-up for my lost youth.  The Mutagen is just the average goo thingy that usually seen with toy.  The surprise is inside cause it comes with a mini turtle

The 80s version comes with a mini turtle, and this is the main reason I want it back in the days as well.  I don't know why, but there's just something about a mini turtle inside Mutagen that I find intriguing.  

Isn't that just adorable?  I didn't know baby turtles comes with their eye-band and weapons ready.

S.H. Figuarts Kankichi Ryotsu Unboxing Reviews

When I heard that Bandai is releasing Kankichi Ryotsu figure for the S.H. Figuarts series, I was overjoyed and pre-ordered one right away.  It just came in the mail yesterday.

Look at all the parts this figure comes with!  For those who don't know who Ryotsu-San is, he's the main character from popular Shonen Jump series- Kochikame.  It's the longest living series on Shonen Jump- been publishing since 1976, and the series is still going strong!  In the 35 something years the series been publishing, there are a few figures released along the line.  However, all those figures are from years ago and already out of print.  Anyway, here goes:

This figures not only comes with many spare parts, it also comes with toys and hobbies that Ryotsu-San likes.  You see the two smaller versions of him?  Those are the out of print figures I mentioned earlier.  It's kind of cool that they included those figures here.

The figure is easy to make different poses that capture the energetic nature of Ryotsu-San.  The color, and details are excellent.  There's nothing to complain here; it truly is a masterpiece.  

One big problem I have with the figure is that it's not easy to switch parts.  I'm afraid I might break it if I try too hard, so it's a shame that I cannot switch his spare parts around to take different pictures.  However, I did take a picture with all the gadgets.

These are all of Ryotsu-San's interests.  He has paper with racehorse information, RC tank, his very own action figures and a copy of Shonen Jump.  It's a shame that it's not easy to switch parts though, cause I would really like to have taken pictures with Ryotsu-San playing his toys.

BioShock Infinity Elizabeth Figure Reviews

My girlfriend finally opens her BioShock Infinity figures.  Here are some pics:

The figure is a standard one with typical pose-able points as any action figures have.  However, there're are few details that make this figure stands out.  The skirt that Elizabeth wears is made out of real cloth unlike many action figures I have before.  While the material might be cheap, it sure brings authenticity to the figure. Also, the figure stands easily.  I usually hate female action figures, because they usually wear high heels and it's difficult for them to stand.  However, this is not the case for this figure.  This figure stands easily and I'm really impressed by it.

One more thing is the figure's face:

For an action figure it really has a detailed face.  It seems so lively and beautiful.  So Overall, I will give this figure a 8/10.  It really is just an action figure, nothing too much to it.

My girlfriend also has the Boy of Silence action figure, but it's too creepy and I think we accidentally broke the figure or something so I decided not to review it.  Again, toooooo creepy.

Bandai Robot Tamashii Doraemon reviews

I received this in the mail yesterday:

Isn't this just the cutest thing ever?  So I decided to do a small review about this.  Bandai Robot Tamashii series is famous for their authentic and details.  But at first I'm worrying about this:

What the heck, man, the box is ripped.  Let's hope the inside is fine.  Here we go...

Everything looks good!  I can't wait to try out all the different parts:

This Doraemon has magnets in its hands for easy access to its gadgets.  All you have to do it put the gadgets on its hands and it can pick up the gadgets easily.  How awesome is that?

A dorayaki always make things better

There's even a magnet in its head to for easily put on the helicopter as well.  This really make switching things around so much easier.

How do I look with my sexy ears?

Overall, I really enjoy this figure.  This is one of the few times I actually have fun switching spare parts around.  Even the eyes are switchable with magnets as well.  The only difficult part is the face as it's harder part to switch around.  A very good figure that I recommend Doraemon fans do get one.
